Casa Eldestijo is located in Santa Luzia, a beautiful and authentic fishing village on Portugal's Algarve Coast. The charming town of Tavira is just around the corner. Santa Luzia is flagged as the capital of octopus fishing and known for its calm and pristine sand beaches. For lovers of nature, Portugese authenticity, beautiful walks and bike tours, this area, is really a "must". 

Santa Luzia has a very relaxing vibe with many small restaurants at affordable prices. There are also several small stores, different shops, a pharmacy and bakeries. Our greatest asset is the location of our house with a magnificent views of the Ria Formosa, the fishing port, the lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean.

Santa Luzia gilt als Hauptstadt der Oktopus-Fischerei und ist für seine ruhigen und unberührten Sandstrände auf den vorgelagerten Inseln bekannt. Für Naturliebhaber, Entdecker des portugiesischen Lebensstils, Freunde von ausgedehnten Spaziergängen oder Fahrradtouren ist diese Gegend ein "Muss".
